this is the version you want!!
crsip clean aud. good mix of crowd and inst. much better than the other 2 shows of 5-1-09 with more ratings. I have been listening to the whole tour(even diff. recordings of same show) and this is the first time I have commented on a show. this show rocks!!! gangsta lean great pull!! jeff really tears it up here, loved his playin>half-step addition(well, really, most of 1st set imo but I love me some keys) there has been soo much talk about bobby and warren and their singing and how WH is not jerry yadda, yadda, NS. I don't care how you look (hear) at it, this is GOOD music and awe inspiring musicianship(imo). I liked the branford shows a lot(lil different more of a spacejazz) but this show has it! love the archive! love the tapers! love GOOD music!! the only reason I gave this 4stars is I think there is a 5er comming up, maybe gorge or chitown. goto NOLA

Truly excellent show. I kinda wandered around the spectrum throughout due to my seats being behind the stage, but I was not disappointed during any part of the show. The sugar magnolia closer, and the box of rain encore almost brought tears to my eyes; and I agree, Phil is the shit.
All in all i'm very glad I finally got to see the dead, and I think I may have received a taste of their magic that they enveloped their crowds in when Jerry was still with us.

Thanks for the shotguns. The sound in that dump is so bad, but this is stellar.

One of the Best Recordings - Again!!!
Always thanks to all the tapers for doing what you guys do. Several nice sources of this show.
Special thanks to Bish and RobertNC - like the Greensboro show this is definitely one of the best of the bunch - again.
From my seats I was groovin so hard on Caution - could feel the power Phil was laying down shaking the bulding, but ehh, Spectrum, up high in the stands, I was feeling it more tha hearing it.
But listening to this Caution - spectacular. Nice nice clean sound. I'm loving now being able to really hear the definition of the bass lines that I could not hear at the show.
Phil is amazing. The clarity that comes through here is amazing.
Hope you guys were their Saturday too, really want to hear that blazing show with this kind of clear sound.
Thanks so much for capturing the real deal guys. Keep em coming, I'm getting spoiled, lol.
